Specialist Behaviour Support Intervention
Positive Behaviour Support is a framework and practice which can assist individuals and families to improve their Quality of Life.
Sometimes people may engage in behaviour which is unsafe or unhelpful for them, others, or the environment. Using applied behaviour analysis, person centred care, trauma informed practice and other holistic models, the behaviour support practitioner can work with you and your support network to:
• Complete a functional behaviour assessment and provide a report.
• Develop an interim behaviour support plan.
• Develop a comprehensive behaviour support plan.
• Provide individualized training for the support system.
• Specialist behaviour support for intervention with the client
•Advocate increase awareness and knowledge and collaborate collectively in the community. Engage in systems change and community development.

Therapeutic Supports
Therapeutic supports are provided to assist participants aged from 7 years to apply their functional skills to improve participation and independence in daily, practical activities in areas such as language and communication, personal care, mobility and movement, interpersonal interactions, and community living.
This registration group includes short and long- term supports that focus on strengthening the participant’s ability to coordinate their supports, and to assist them to live at home and participate in their community.
